CLOSE HOUSTON – Houston Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni is convinced James Harden operates on a different level than most players, especially after his latest dazzling performance. Milwaukee Bucks reveal a return to purple jerseys in 2022-23 - Behind the Buck Pass

On Thursday the Milwaukee Bucks revealed their second new jersey this summer, after announcing the new Fear the Deer Statement Edition jerseys, all black jerseys with white and blue trim and instead of stripes up the side, the jerseys feature antlers. Nike took over as the official jersey supplier of the NBA before the 2017-18 season and since then the Bucks have had some interesting jerseys. Cream City, the red, white and green jerseys that looked destined to be worn on Christmas and the interesting three shades of blue City Edition jerseys from a couple years ago. Now the Milwaukee Bucks have announced their 2022-23 Classic Edition jerseys, nearly identical to the ones worn in the second half of the 1990s and the early 2000s. With his recent MVP win for the 2019-20 season, Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo joined NBA legends Hakeem Olajuwon and Michael Jordan as the only players in league history to win the awards for MVP and Defensive Player of the Year in the same season. “Just being in that conversation and in the same sentence as them, it means a lot to me,” Antetokounmpo said after the announcement. At the moment, though, there is one obvious outlier among that trio. With a new game mode, a new team and more. Cricket 19 Ultimate DLC will head to the Big Ant game from tomorrow, 16 July, the studio today revealed. The DLC, priced at $14.95 AUD, will be available on Windows PC, Xbox and PlayStation (so skipping Switch) and adds a new game mode called The Hundred alongside a new international team, the Carribbean Premiere League, 200 licensed players and three new stadiums. The Hundred is a rather new short-form cricket competition in which players can draft a fantasy team and have a crack. Winslow Townson (USA Today) The Houston Rockets are in a fairly dire situation. They just got decimated by the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round of the playoffs. They'll have a new coach and a new general manager next season. They owe two first-round picks and two pick swaps to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Their two superstars, James Harden and Russell Westbrook, are now in their 30s and have hefty contracts still on the books. That isn't uncommon for Houston. They owe their top five players almost $120 million, and will almost certainly pay the luxury tax next season. The future is not particularly bright in Houston. With that in mind, there is an argument to be made in favor of kickstarting a rebuild now. Trading Harden would still net a significant return, but the longer they wait, the less likely that is to be true. Wait too long, and they might be stuck with aging versions of Harden, Westbrook and Eric Gordon that are no longer capable of contending. For now,...

As part of a recent podcast appearance with The Ringer, Houston Rockets guard Austin Rivers detailed his affinity for the city of Houston. However, the former No. 10 overall pick also noted his interest in hitting the open market. Rivers, now 28 years of age, signed a two-year deal last offseason, and he has a $2.4 million player option for this upcoming season. During his podcast appearance, he explained why he is planning to opt out and become a free agent: “I definitely want to be out there on the market, and just see what else is out there,” Rivers said, via SB Nation’s The Dream Shake. “But I love Houston.
