Charlotte Shuffle: The Hornets won't have Kelly Oubre Jr. in the rotation tonight due to a hand injury, shifting PJ Washington into a more prominent offensive role. The versatile stretch big just posted an efficient 25 points thanks to a surge in offensive usage and is in a good spot to produce against an undersized Brooklyn frontcourt to close out 2022. Rookie center Mark Williams is also a name to watch, as he tallied 17 points and 13 boards in limited run in a recent win over the Thunder. With the Quickness: The Knicks are finally unleashing Immanuel Quickley as a major part of the offensive agenda. The 24-year-old seemingly didn't enjoy his time at Sacramento State but is happier in Colombia. He tweeted in October: "The time will come for me to tell the truth about Sacramento State. Texas Football: Jaydon Blue scrubs Longhorns from social media - Hook'em Headlines

Image
Thursday night was a tough pill to swallow for Texas football and its fans as the Horns fell to Washington in the Alamo Bowl 27-20. Unfortunately for the Longhorn faithful, it may get worse before it gets better. Freshman running back Jaydon Blue has scrubbed his Instagram account of anything relating to the University of Texas. After playing just 16 offensive snaps in the regular season, it was widely expected Blue would get a chance to prove himself in the Alamo Bowl. Not only did Blue not touch the ball in the loss to Washington; he did not receive a single offensive snap. Blue was an incredibly successful high school player at Klein Cain (Houston), culminating in a junior season where he rushed for 2155 yards and 30 touchdowns on 9.5 yards per carry. He was a consensus four-star prospect and ranked as the 15th-best running back in the class of 2022. Blue elected to forgo his senior season of high school and enroll at the University of Texas in January 2022. Texas football RB Jaydon

Michael Jordan, Who Plays 36 Holes A Day, Revealed How Golf Improved His Mental Health - The Sportsrush

Image
Michael Jordan and his affinity for golf has been well documented ever since he started indulging in the sport in the mid-1980s. Despite being one of the best players in basketball right off the bat upon entering the league in 1984, Jordan fell in love with golf almost instantaneously.   Jordan would continually blow off steam from his day-to-day activities by hitting up a golf course. He got so into it that he would bet on his skills as a golfer with friends. This soon evolved into him getting into quite the shady dealings with characters like 'Slim' Bouler.   Bouler actually hustled MJ out of $57,000 while playing golf, an amount that was confirmed when Jordan admitted to writing check worth that same amount while in court. Since then, he's slowed down on betting egregious amounts on his golfing skills and instead plays competitively and for leisurely purposes. So for example, an older player who is still a top player and might only get a one- or two-year deal (example: Joe Pavelski) might get a lift over a younger player whose contract might be longer-term and riskier (Andrei Kuzmenko). Long-term production and how likely a player is to continue duplic
