Yolanda Adkins Hardaway is the wife of Tim Hardaway Sr., a former NBA player and the father of Dallas Mavericks guard Tim Hardaway Jr. The couple also have daughters, Nia and Nina. BLACKSBURG   –  Virginia Tech football head coach Brent Pry  announced Saturday the team has added seven transfers, including long snapper Griffin Armstrong, defensive back Derrick Canteen, quarterback Kyron Drones , wide receivers  Da'Quan Felton ,  Ali Jennings and Jaylin Lane and running back Bhayshul Tuten. Armstrong (LS, 5-10, 220)  spent two seasons at Louisiana Tech, redshirting in 2021, before playing in all 12 games in 2022. He was named to the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll in 2022. Armstrong was born in Fairbanks, Alaska as a member of a military family, before living in Valencia, Spain and eventually South Korea where he graduated from Osan American High School. The Nuggets can't officially find their playoff stride until starting forward Aaron Gordon returns, but when that happens is anyone's guess. Gordon missed his fifth game in a row on Saturday due to a rib contusion and was listed as out for Sunday's back-to-back at home against the Clippers on the team's early injury report. "Honestly, I have no idea (when he'll return)," Nuggets coach Michael Malone said late Saturday night following their blowout loss to the Grizzlies. Gordon wasn't on Denver's two-game road trip to Cleveland and then to Memphis. Instead, he opted to stay back and rehab. He's going over a packet containing information and pronunciations of all the wrestlers set to compete under the illustrious spotlight of wrestling's biggest stage. That packet has grown a lot over the years, 42 years to be exact. Whitehead began his involvement with the state wrestling tournament as a scorekeeper before taking over as the full-time announcer in 1983. Whitehead, a former wrestler at Franklin Central, wanted a way to make the matches more personal. More than 150 bills have been filed in the North Carolina House this session, but bill drafters and lawmakers haven't yet completed work on legislation to legalize sports betting on electronic and mobile devices. Betting on sports is legal in North Carolina at three tribal casinos. Virginia and Tennessee are among the two dozen states to legalize mobile sports gambling. Lawmakers in Georgia, Texas, Missouri and Vermont, among other states, are currently debating legalization. Gov. Roy Cooper, an avid Carolina Hurricanes fan and attendee at Duke-North Carolina men's basketball games in Durham and New Orleans in the last year, has consistently backed sports gambling in recent years.
