WIAA state boys basketball division locations, schedules set - Oshkosh Northwestern

Divisions 1 and 3 in the WIAA state boys basketball tournament will be played at Menominee Nation Arena in Oshkosh, the WIAA announced Thursday.

Divisions 2, 4 and 5 will play at the La Crosse Center.

These are the same division locations and schedules as the girls basketball state tournaments, which started Thursday.

Thursday, March 4

9:05 a.m. –  Division 5 semifinal (La Crosse Center)

12:35 p.m. – Division 5 semifinal (La Crosse Center)

7:05 p.m. – Division 5 championship (La Crosse Center)

Friday, March 5

9:05 a.m. – Division 4 semifinal (La Crosse Center)

10:45 a.m. – Division 3 semifinal (Menominee Nation Arena)

12:25 p.m. – Division 4 semifinal (La Crosse Center)

2:10 p.m. – Division 3 semifinal (Menominee Nation Arena)

6:35 p.m. –  Division 4 championship (La Crosse Center)

8:15 p.m. – Division 3 championship (Menominee Nation Arena)

Saturday, March 6

9:05 a.m. – Division 2 semifinal (La Crosse Center)

10:45 a.m. – Division 1 semifinal (Menominee Nation Arena)

12:25 p.m. – Division 2 semifinal (La Crosse Center)

2:10 p.m. – Division 1 semifinal (Menominee Nation Arena)

6:35 p.m. – Division 2 championship (La Crosse Center)

8:15 p.m. – Division 1 championship (Menominee Nation Arena)

The semifinals and championship game for each division will be played on the same day. Semifinals and finals are normally on separate days, but that's changed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The stacked schedule allows the WIAA to live broadcast every game.

The usual site is the Kohl Center at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Menominee Nation Arena is the home of the Milwaukee Bucks' G League affiliate Wisconsin Herd.
