After playing just 16 offensive snaps in the regular season, it was widely expected Blue would get a chance to prove himself in the Alamo Bowl. Not only did Blue not touch the ball in the loss to Washington; he did not receive a single offensive snap. Blue was an incredibly successful high school player at Klein Cain (Houston), culminating in a junior season where he rushed for 2155 yards and 30 touchdowns on 9.5 yards per carry.
