Navy Vs. Temple Live Stream, How To Watch Online, CBS Sports Network Channel Finder, Odds

CBS Sports Network's continued coverage of the 2024 college football season features quadruple header of Saturday games for the Week 2 slate. For the second straight week, all three service academies are in action.

Army gets things started at noon in its first game as an American Athletic Conference member against Florida Atlantic. The Black Knights made the move from football independence during the offseason and will compete in a league for the first time since 2004.

Then Navy gets its own conference slate started at home against Temple, while Air Force opens Mountain West play against San Jose State inside the friendly confines of Falcon Stadium.

Then, for a nightcap, Oregon State embarks on its new scheduling alliance with the Mountain West in its Week 2 clash against San Diego State. Though the Beavers can't compete for the MWC championship, a win Saturday would be important for any other postseason hopes. Oregon State has made a bowl game in each of the past three seasons.

CBS Sports Network will be with you every step of the way once the Week 2 games begin. In the meantime, get caught up on viewing information, storylines, betting odds and more for each matchup.

San Jose State and Air Force both handled their Week 1 games against FCS competition with ease and now turn their attention towards Saturday's Mountain West opener. The Falcons beat the Spartans 45-20 amid an 8-0 start last season, but Air Force is hoping to sustain that success this year after a rough close to 2023. San Jose State will be bringing a familiar face to Colorado: new coach Ken Niumatalolo, who had an 8-8 record against Air Force while the coach at Navy.

Oregon State at San Diego State

Date: Saturday, Sept. 7Time: 10:30 p.M. ET Location: Snapdragon Stadium -- San Diego, California TV: CBS Sports Network [Channel finder] Live stream: CBSSports.ComMobile: CBS Sports App (Free)Spread: Oregon State -4.5Will the Beavers cover? Check out SportsLine's Week 2 projections here

The scheduling alliance begins! This will be Oregon State's first game as a quasi-Mountain West school -- at least in terms of the games it plays -- as the Beavers embark on an uncertain Pac-12 future. It's going to be a tough test against a good San Diego State team that shook off a slow first-half to beat Texas A&M-Commerce 45-14. New Beavers quarterback Gevani McCoy, a former FCS standout, had an efficient showing in his team's Week 1 win against Idaho State, completing nine of his 10 passes for 114 yards and one touchdown.

SBJ Morning Buzz: U.S. Open, 'Monday Night Football' Threatened By Disney-DirecTV Row

NBA Photos

Joey Graziano, a 2024 SBJ Forty Under 40 recipient who ideated the NBA's Bubble of 2020 and spent over five years growing the league's events department, has joined Pacers Sports & Entertainment as EVP/Strategy & New Business Ventures. Considering both the Pacers and Fever are emerging franchises, Graziano will be tasked with extending their brands domestically and globally, as well as building on Indianapolis' rise as a sports epicenter.

"I was fortunate that a number of NBA teams reached out to me,'' said Graziano, whose most recent title at the league office was SVP/Head of Global Event Strategy & Development. "But I chose the Pacers and Fever in large in part because I think the opportunity is incredible. The Pacers are a young, dynamic team poised to be really good for a long period of time, and then obviously, we are at a transformative moment for women's basketball and women's sports in general. And, certainly, the Fever and Caitlin Clark are going to play a leading role in that transformation.''

Graziano was a burgeoning figure at the NBA, a former Georgetown baseball player and Rhodes Scholar finalist who was the first and last person at the Orlando Bubble, launched the league's premium experiential business, brainstormed NBA Con, executed the equity-centric NBA Network, oversaw the In-Season Tournament Final Four in Las Vegas, led the restructuring of the NBA Global Events department, headed USA Basketball's commercial strategy and helped shape the evolving NBA All-Star Game, from the city selection process to last year's Steph Curry-Sabrina Ionescu shootout.

Ironically, that All-Star Game was staged in Indianapolis alongside Pacers Sports & Entertainment, whose owner Herb Simon subsequently pursued Graziano at a time team CEO Rick Fuson was retiring. Graziano had extensive conversations with Simon, minority owner Steven Rales, Fuson, new CEO Mel Raines and president and COO Todd Taylor --and decided to accept the team's offer. He will report to Raines.

"We are thrilled to have someone with Joey's experience, energy, leadership and deep understanding of the global sports industry," said Raines. "His enthusiasm is contagious, and his ability to think strategically about the future of our industry will be a tremendous asset to our talented, seasoned staff. He is joining us at a critical time and will be a great asset to our company and our city."

Graziano started the job the week of Aug. 26, and immediately was on hand for the Fever's sold-out home game against the Sun at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. "I'm excited to be able to spend time through the Fever's upcoming playoff run,'' he said, "and we obviously have to continue to focus on the future of our local RSN business. There's also a number of businesses that I think Indiana needs to round out its entertainment portfolio. And I think those are the ones that I'm going to run towards, certainly in the short term.''

At the league office, Graziano was a resource for a number of teams looking to monetize and develop mixed-use districts around their respective arenas -- which is partly what made him attractive to a bevy of franchises. Indianapolis had already unveiled Commission Row and a new plaza around last February's All-Star Game, and Graziano said there are evolving plans to further enhance the downtown area heading into next summer's WNBA All-Star Game there.

In the meantime, the Pacers will be the Spurs' and Victor Wembanyama's opponent in next season's Paris Game, where Graziano said he believes the franchise can amplify its international portfolio. He also said he suspects the Fever and Clark are a profound candidate for an inaugural overseas WNBA game someday.

Graziano was always thinking globally at the league office, and, while vetting potential Bubble sites in 2020, his group even considered holding the mini-NBA season in Sweden (which had virtually no outbreaks of Covid) or at military bases or on a cruise ship. Las Vegas and, ironically, Indianapolis, were domestic options outside of Orlando, and he said he and co-workers spent 18-hour days researching the possibilities.

"There is no professional accomplishment to date I'm more proud of than the work we did at the NBA Bubble,'' he said. "But I wouldn't have this opportunity [with the Pacers and Fever] but for the work that I did at the league -- and the relationships, the people I worked with and the business I was fortunate enough to be able to create there. I would not have been the candidate that teams were reaching out to if not for the NBA.''
