Gordon Ramsay's Surprising 13-word Message To Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce After Engagement Announcement

Gordon Ramsay has publicly congratulated Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce on their engagement with a sweet Instagram post. The Love Story singer and Kansas City Chiefs star sent fans into a frenzy when they announced their engagement online yesterday after two years of dating.

Uploading a series of romantic snaps in a flower garden together on Instagram, Taylor captioned the post: "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married", with her song So High School playing in the background. After announcing their big news, the Hell's Kitchen star took it upon himself to mark their special moment with his own post.

Gordon shared a snap of embracing the American footballer on the Super Bowl pitch as he wrote: "From one ring to the next …congrats @killatrav & @taylorswift !" In a nod to Taylor's teacher joke, he signed off: "From your favourite Home Ec Teacher Gx"

In the comment section, influencer Alessandra Madrid-Pastor wrote: "OMG @gordongram needs to cater the wedding!!!" with Ramsay replying: "I'm bready for it."

The picture was taken during the Super Bowl LVII, where the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles to win the NFL championship in 2023, for the 2022 season.

Taylor's song choice from her 2024 album The Tortured Poets Department delighted fans as it's well known among Swifties that the track, which she played during her Europe and UK leg of the Era's Tour, is about Travis.

The sweet song is about a whirlwind romance with a football player that feels like a teenage sort of love in high school.

The NFL player appeared to pop the question in a gorgeous garden, abundant with flowers and a floral archway.

Taylor shared a series of photos from the special moment with one showing Travis down on his knees with the singer holding his face in her hands.

Another was a close up shot of the pop star's enormous diamond rock on her finger in a snap of her and Travis clasping hands.

The loved-up pair were first romantically linked in 2023 when the Kansas City Chiefs star first expressed an interest in Taylor on his New Heights podcast in July.

He also attended her Eras Tour concert in Kansas City, Missouri, where he planned to give her a friendship bracelet with his number on it but did not get the opportunity.

However, a few months later, Swift was spotted at a Chief's game in September 2023 alongside Kelce's mother, Donna, which when whispers of their rumoured relationship first began.

After showing up to a few more matches, Taylor and Travis were a confirmed couple by late 2023.

Kelce has admitted that he did not manage to get Taylor's attention all on his own, confessing that there was a mysterious link playing 'Cupid' in the background.

He previously said during an interview with WSJ Magazine: "There were definitely people she knew that knew who I was, in her corner [who said]: 'Yo! Did you know he was coming?' I had somebody playing Cupid".

Swift has had a number of serious romances over the years but seems to have finally found the one as she has never been engaged before.

Travis has also never been engaged before but he has previously been linked to several women, including Maya Benberry, the winner of his 2016 dating show Catching Kelce.

The 58-year-old shared the news in an Instagram post, writing, "Grateful and so appreciative for the incredible team at The Skin Associates and their fast reactive work on removing this Basal Cell Carcinoma, thank you! Please don't forget your sunscreen this weekend."

The television personality, known for hosting popular reality cooking shows like "Hell's Kitchen" and "MasterChef," also shared pictures showing a large bandage on the side of his face and a close-up shot of stitches near his left ear.

"I promise you it's not a facelift! I'd need a refund," he quipped.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, Basal cell carcinoma is a type of skin cancer that causes a lump, bump or lesion to form on the outside layer of the skin on areas that typically get a lot of sun exposure.

Ramsay's post had already garnered more than 300,000 likes and countless comments by Saturday afternoon, with many wishing the restaurateur well.

He recently made a stop in Cleveland when he visited Fahrenheit in June and sampled several dishes, including sashimi, sushi, chop salads, pork chops, shortribs, schnitzel and bananas foster.
