Nika Muhl has kept her romantic life private. Despite the Seattle Storm rookie's public life, her relationship does't ngarner much attention. On a rare occasion, the WNBA player took to Instagram and shared a picture of her boyfriend, Nahiem Alleyne, to wish him on his birthday (July 23).

The Storm Guard posted a picture of them sitting on the couch in a Seattle Storm team cap and holding a win glass in hand. Muhl captioned her story with a birthday cake and a heart emoji.

The Seattle Storm player was seen donning a black full-length dress cuddled up with her boyfriend. In the picture, she is also seen rocking Nike V2K Run white color shoes.

Muhl was drafted 14th overall by the Storm in the second round. Due to visa issues at the beginning of the season, she has played only 12 games for the Storm this season.

Since her return, Muhl has not been able to get many minutes on the floor. The Storm rookie is averaging only 2.8 minutes on the floor and she is yet to score her first WNBA point. She is averaging 0.0 points, 0.5 rebounds and 0.1 assists per game.

On the brighter side, Muhl has become a fan-favorite rookie in Seattle. Muhl has also been in the news for being one of the best-dressed players in the WNBA.

According to Athlon Sports, Muhl's boyfriend played Division 1 college basketball for five years, with three seasons at Virginia Tech, one at UConn (2022-23 season) and later his final year at St. John's University. He met Nika Muhl during his year at UConn. There is no update about his professional life after his career in basketball ended last season.

Seattle Storm rookie Nika Muhl has reportedly sustained an injury. Muhl, who began playing overseas after the Las Vegas Aces eliminated the Storm from the playoffs, had to be removed from her latest contest on a stretcher.

An update reveals that she suffered a torn left ACL.

The 23-year-old is part of the Turkish team Besiktas JK, which was playing against Fenerbahce in the Super League when Muhl's injury occurred. The UConn alum fell to the floor during the third quarter of the game after grabbing a rebound.

After falling, she wailed in pain while her teammates and coaching staff tended to her. She repeatedly told those around her not to touch her knee. Eventually, medical staff took her to the locker room on a stretcher.

She joined her teammates on the bench later, but didn't return to action. There is no timetable for her recovery.

After four years at UConn, where she proved to be a staunch defender and reliable playmaker, Nika Muhl was drafted 14th overall by the Seattle Storm.

Muhl quickly became a fan favorite despite not seeing much playing time. She made her WNBA debut five games into the Storm's schedule on May 22 when her team faced Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever. That evening, the defensive specialist saw two minutes of action while grabbing two rebounds.

Muhl played 16 games during her first WNBA season, averaging 3.6 minutes per game. The Croat enjoyed extra court time against the Phoenix Mercury in the Storm's finale.

That day, Muhl played 14 minutes and scored her first WNBA field goal. Her basket came after she forced a turnover and converted an easy layup.

Nika Muhl received DNP-CDs in the Seattle Storm's first-round Playoff matchup against the Las Vegas Aces.

While adjusting to WNBA life, she totaled two points, ten rebounds, seven assists and two steals. She went 1-for-14 from the field and 0-for-11 from downtown.

Seattle Storm rookie and former UConn star Nika Muhl suffered a serious leg injury during a recent game in Turkey. She had to be taken off the court on a stretcher in the third quarter.

Muhl, who was playing overseas for Besiktas J.K., suffered the injury in a game against Fenerbahçe SK. It's unclear what exactly happened in the video below, but it appeared Muhl suffered the injury after landing on the ground while grabbing a rebounds.

The camera then shows Muhl holding her knee as she appears to be in a significant amount of pain. Trainers rushed to the court to provide assistance and eventually took the WNBA rookie off the court on a stretcher.

Per Yahoo Sports, Muhl suffered an ACL tear. That will end her first season overseas.

Muhl appeared in 16 games for the Storm as a rookie. She accounted for 10 rebounds, seven assists, two points and two steals in her first year in the WNBA.

Muhl was selected in the second round of the 2024 WNBA Draft after an outstanding career at UConn. She appeared in 131 career games and made 109 starts over four years with the Huskies. She was known as a great passer and even better defensive player.
